The only thing about romance is that people only get together right at the very end On 2004-12-28 08:56
Yesterday I finally decided to fall asleep late at night to watch "Love Actually" which was recommended to me by Moira about two years ago. This is the typical love movie but with a big dose of humor. First of all we can say the cast looks good, Hugh Grant, Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Colin Firth, Rowan Atkinson, and my preference goes to Liam Neeson. The point of the movie is to show that Love is all around by putting all these people together at the very end of the movie. A novel writter and his portuguese cleaning lady, a kid and his school first love, the British prime minister and a 'secretary', an old pop star and his manager,...etc.. All of this is done in a way that all the characters could have known the others, they meet for some of them, they cross their ways for other ones, they are relatives for the other ones. This is probably not the best movie ever but at least it is a positive one. I enjoyed watching it even though it was pretty late. Pretty refreshing.
