Oh yeah, looks like the li(y)on is growing up fast :)
Yesterday, Lyon won its second game of the Champions league against Rosenborg (Norway). It wasn't the best match ever but interresting to see how the players of Lyon handled the game easily with so much control. They now have 6 points and are in a very good situation to qualify for the next round. Cool !. The other day, i was looking at OL's website and there is a poll asking visitor who is going to be European Champion this year. Well, 71% of people voted for Lyon which means about 60000 people out of the 83000 people who voted. I don't know if this is pretentious, but everyone in France feels like Lyon is now a big team in Europe and can play against any team without having to fear it. What I want to remember in that kind of situation is that last year, Lyon lost only one game, in Manchester, which wasn't even important for qualification, and still got kicked out of the cup thanks to VERY doubtful referee's decisions. They had the best offense, and I'm not sure but I believe the best defense too. So this year, if we're going to lose, I'd rather lose a game instead of being eliminated by a referee like Mr Nielsen. Or maybe we won't get kicked out at all....who knows ;p.
