Hehe, nice....

A sunny day, Germany won their world cup game and I watched the game with my dad while drinking a few beers. Nice. I feel good today, and I think it is a good thing to say compared to these people who just "blog" what they have to complain about. Feeling good, a bit drunk but nothing bad. You don't feel like this so often. Last times were the first day in Amsterdam with Scott and Jon and before was in Fort Myers beach in 2002. Yeah !

It took me about two weeks to recover from the jet-lag, but I think I am now better. The last days in the bay area were very nice. After a first day in San Francisco where the weather was not really on our side, the second time was a lot better. We went to San Francisco with Neela's familly and had a lot of fun in Fisherman's wharf, Chinatown or a cute little park right next to the golden gate bridge. Coming back was tough especially with the jet lag. Moreover the world cup started and I have to say I don't have much time to do anything cause there is always a game on tv :p. I think Germany will win the cup :)

The secret special place was a lovely cottage in Sonoma in the wine country of california. This is a valley parallel to Napa Valley and they have pretty good wines there. The cottage was great, very small and cosy, with a small patio on the side, and a room decorated with french stuff. Very nice place. The first day we just rested and recovered from our week with Evie and Juan. The next day we left around noon and went wine tasting in the area. The first stop was at Buena Vista winery which was one of the first ones in the area for premium wines. Then we went to a couple of others ones. We then came back to Berkeley using the local metro after giving back the rental car. Yesterday Neela went to work while I was visiting Berkeley campus. It is very pretty there. I can tell why tuition gets so expensive when you see what the campus is like. In the evening we had a little party that Gula organized for me in a bar next to her work place. It was very cool and ended up at night. We came home and slept well. Today we are resting after so many activities :)
