 On Sunday Morning On 2006-05-28 19:24 Hey hey,a short update to say that we had a wonderful time with Evie and Juan this past week. We will leave them tomorrow morning to go to a secret surprise place ^^. The baseball game was cool and Tahoe was also great. Yesterday I had my first golfing experience and we went for a little kayak ride on a lake before a good barbecue in the evening. Fun fun fun !. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Salut, un petit message pour dire que nous avons passe une super semaine avec Evie et Juan. Nous allons les quitter demain matin pour un lieu secret^^. Le match de baseball etait cool et Tahoe egalement. Hier j'ai eu ma premiere experience golfique et nous avons fait un petit tour de kayak sur un lac avant un bon barbecue le soir. Que du plaisir !. Day 3 - Thanksgiving On 2006-05-26 01:51 Short update from El Dorado county where we are staying with Evie and Juan (neela's friends). Yesterday was a very cool day. They prepared a thanksgiving diner for me (while thanksgiving is in November) and it was delicious. Today we went for a little ride in the vineyards, tasted wine, and tonight we are going to a baseball game. Cool !. Going to Tahoe tomorrow also :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Quelques nouvelles du cote d'El Dorado ou nous habitons chez Evie et Juan (des amis de Neela). Hier fut une journee tres cool. Ils avaient prepare un dinner de thanksgiving pour moi (Thanksgiving est en Novembre) et c'etait vraiment excellent. Aujourd'hui nous nous sommes ballades dans les vignes, avons goute du vin, et ce soir nous allons a un match de baseball. Cool !. Nous allons a Lake Tahoe demain en principe :) Indian food for breakfast On 2006-05-24 20:34 I made it alright to Oakland airport where neela was waiting for me. Today we are going near Sacramento to one of neela's friends where we're going to stay for a week. Should be fun. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Le voyage s'est bien passe jusqu'a Oakland ou Neela m'attendait. Aujourd'hui nous allons pret de Sacramento chez une de ses amies ou nous allons rester pendant une semaine. Ca devrait etre cool. 04:30 am - Departure On 2006-05-23 04:39 Man I can't get used to get up that early.... Flying to Frankfurt first then to LA and finally to Oakland. Getting there at about 2 am tomorrow morning (5 pm today there). The day is going to be loooooong. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Arg j'arrive pas à m'habituer à me lever si tot le matin.... Je aprs vers Frankfort en premier puis vers Los Angeles, et finalement vers Oakland. J'arrive a peu près ves 2h du mat demain (il sera 17h aujourd'hui la bas). La journée va être loooooongue. California baby ! On 2006-05-22 10:02 Tomorrow I am leaving at 6:30 in the morning to California where I am going to spend 2 weeks holidays with gula. I will try to update this site to give some news but no promise. Should be cool. I hope it is sunny. :) Another nice wedding On 2006-05-08 13:42 Past weekend was Salvo and Uzma's wedding here in Lyon. It started with a leaving party on Friday for Charles who also left us. I am now the last man standing of all the brave warriors... Anyway at that party, we met with a few people and with all of Salvo's italian friends who came for the wedding. It ended around 2:30 as they kicked us out of the bar (Wallace's, owned by an "Undesirable"). We then walked a little bit (we is Scott and I), not knowing how to go home, trying to grab a VeloV, but we ended up in a taxi. Apparently we were still up around 4 am... Saturday was the wedding day so we got up to have lunch with my parents and then got ready, waited for Charles, and went to Point du Jour where the Town Hall of the 5th arrondissement is located. After a very short civil ceremony, we took a few pictures outside but it started raining so we ran to a nearby bar where we had champaign and had the chance to hear "Les Mauvaises Graines", Uzma's batucada band performing outside the bar. After this, we went back home and joined everyone at the restaurant for the diner. The food was very good in my opinion and we had the chance to see uncle bobby's special dance. Was a nice evening but the whole thing ended up pretty late and yesterday was tough. The good part is that we were still up when Charles was supposed to get up to go to the airport so we called him and woke him up and he made it on time !!. Anyway the whole weekend was cool, as always for weddings :) |
