A week without cigarettes...
On 2004-03-30 18:46
I didn't smoke a cigarette for almost a week which is pretty neat. I don't feel completly confident yet but I don't feel like I need to smoke so it is not too hard to resist at the moment. What stinks is that everyone asks me "Did you smoke yet ?". Why the hell do they add that "Yet", just like if I was too weak to stop.... Bahhhh, they should stop themselves and then we'll talk.
Last week I read "Chobits" which is a pretty nice manga too, not violent or anything, it looks like a love story but there is a big philosophic background about computers. I don't know what the next one will be yet, I think I may stick to animation for a while, so it won't be too expensive.... I bought a new screen on the internet this morning so I won't have that much money to throw away this month even though quit smoking will save me some money.
Yesterday I watched Vishwa's dvd "Nausicaa of the Valley of the wind" from Miyasaki. It was pretty good, very close to "The Castle in the Sky" (not sure about the title in English), which is also a very pro "save-the-earth" animation. I really liked it though. I am also watching "Abenobashi Magical Street" which seems to be nice but not more. We'll see if it gets better.

Manga stories

Well finally Kelly and Bo didn't come to Lyon. I felt they wouldn't when I didn't get any news from them after my first email. Moreover I remember how much Kelly loves Paris and I pretty much felt she'd like to stay there longer. Maybe another time. Anyway the sun is back in Lyon, and I really feel like taking a few days off in April to go South. Maybe Tunisia or I don't know yet but I would need to find somewhere cheap and sunny :) Yesterday I finished reading the DNA2. It was pretty cool, even if the end is pretty different than the animation. It's about Momonari Junta, a guy who can't stop puking when he sees a female body. It's a pretty funny manga with a lot of surprises, I really liked it but not as much as Love Hina  . Talking about Love Hina, today I received No 13 so I will read it today. I'm pretty impatient because the Animation stops after No 12, so I don't even know what's going to happen in this one. Unfortunatly, there will only be 1 left after this one. No 14 is the last one :( The only good thing about Love Hina is that Declic Images (French Company) finally bought the copyrights for Love Hina again in France which is pretty cool thing. People here say that Love Hina Again isn't really Love Hina but it looks like they don't know the story in the manga goes after the Love Hina Animation..... Anyway I'll let you know if I enjoyed it :p

Champions League
On 2004-03-10 15:13
Yeah, they did it, yesterday Lyon qualified for the quarter of final of the Champions League by winning a game against Real Sociedad (Spain) 1-0. The game itself wasn't great but the atmosphere was pretty good and I'm especially happy cause that's the first time in Lyon's history that they go so far in the European Champions League. We don't know yet who they are going to play but it is probably going to be a very though game. I'm wasted today because of that game, and I have to go downtown with Geraldine in the evening. Then we have that so busy day tomorrow in MPA with a restaurant for lunch and a Raclette party in the evening. Kell and Bo sent me an email also, saying they are in England at the moment and will be in Lyon soon. I hope we'll catch each other and go to a bar or something all together.
